Hello World History,
I hope this finds you well and recharged after Memorial Day weekend! We are over halfway done with online learning and you are doing a great job, keep it up! Here is this week’s schedule and some announcements.
The schedule for this week (5/25 – 5/29):
MON. / TUE. (5/25, 5/26) – Make sure you have checked out the new unit intro (Post War Decolonization & Globalization) from last week and finish Crash Course Israel & Palestine, due on WED., 5/27 (both A and B days). Please see below:
**A Day (5/25) --- NO SCHOOL – Memorial Day. Catch up for this class or others as needed.
**B Day (5/26) --- Khan Academy video (post-war independence movements). This is optional (not required), but will help give you more depth on the material in our last unit. Feel free to watch and leave a post. Catch up for this class or others as needed.
WED. (5/27) – I will have Office Hours from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Wednesdays where I will be available for immediate email responses to questions and for video calls (the “Meet” feature within Microsoft Teams). Please let me know if you would like to schedule a video call. I will also do my best to be available for Office Hours on my prep periods (2nd and 5th periods on the At-Home Learning schedule sent out prior to spring break---subject to change in the future).
THU. / FRI. (5/28, 5/29) – go to the “May 25 – May 29” Channel in Teams. Watch today’s video PPT file AND the Crash Course Decolonization video (view only). Then, head over to the Assignment “Decolonization – Asia & Africa” in Teams. The Crash Course video and reading are linked in the Assignment post, and you will complete an activity in the attached Word doc. This assignment is due on Mon., 6/1 (A), Tue. 6/2 (B).
